Art Journaling Love & New art journals!

An art journal is a journal or diary that has a strong visual element to it, an expression of your artistic creativity and imagination, not filled only with words like a traditional journal. It's a journal for using your art to express your memories, dreams, and thoughts. How you create the images, and what type of imagery you make, is entirely a matter of personal choice. There are no rules. You can paint or draw, use pen and ink, photos, collage, doodle, stickers... anything and everything.

An Art Journal is just a journal in which you record anything you like in a creative way. Art Journaling is all about the process. In an Art Journal you can express a lot of experiences and emotions. You can use paint, colors, images, words, pictures, leaves, papers, etc. Anything goes in an art Journal. You can use it as an outlet to express your emotions and then cover them with paint or paper.

You can use it to record events, to gather stuff you like, you can even use it to express how empty of ideas you are at the moment. You don't have to keep an art journal to be an artist, but artists all over the world have use art journals as a tool to express and record their artistic minds.

Journal Love - How to make an art journal page 3 + paper doll gift / Πως να φτιάξεις μία σελίδα για την τέχνη του ημερολογίου 3 + xάρτινη κούκλα δώρο!

*Art journals are magical places where all judgements fall away! They are not for making “perfect” art,

they are for soul expression, a place for you to be ,to express, create, to heal, to laugh, to cry!

There isn’t right or wrong! Just do whatever you like on it and…play!
Here is how I make a typical art journal page (for this tutorial I used my small art journal with watercolor pages):
* Τα καλλιτεχνικά ημερολόγια είναι μαγικοί χώροι όπου καμία κριτική δεν έχει θέση! Δεν είναι χώροι για να δημιουργήσεις την "τέλεια" τέχνη, είναι χώροι για ψυχική έκφραση,για δημιουργική έκφραση,για θεραπεία,για γέλιο ή και για κλάμα!
Δεν υπάρχει σωστό ή λάθος! Απλά κάνε ό,τι νομίζεις μέσα σε αυτό και...παίξε!
Εδώ έχω μία τυπική σελίδα ημερολογίου με πολλά στρώματα (γι'αυτό το τουτόριαλ χρησιμοποίησα το μικρό μου ημερολόγιο με σελίδες ακουαρέλας)

1st: Collect small paper scraps or ephemera or pages from old books in any colour and pattern you like.
1ο: Μάζεψε μικράκομμάτια χαρτιού ή σελίδες από παλιά βιβλία σε ότι χρώμα και σχέδιο θέλεις,

2nd: Glue them onto you journal in order to cover 2 pages for example. Iτ will be your backround and the first layer. I use liquid glue or matte medium.

2ο: Κόλλησε τα στο ημερολόγιο για να καλύψεις με αυτά 2 σελίδες για παράδειγμα. Θα είναι το φόντο και το πρώτο στρώμα. Εγώ χρησιμοποιώ υγρή κόλλα για κολάζ ή matte medium.

3rd: With a wet baby wipe spread a small amount of your favourite acrylic colour . I used light green and a little tyrchoise!
3o: Με ένα υγρό μωρομάντηλο άπλωσε λίγη ποσότητα από το αγαπημένο σου ακρυλικό χρώμα. Χρησιμοποίησα ανοικτό πράσινο και λίγο τυρκουάζ!

4^th: Add stencils and decorative stamps. I used a different acrylic colour(yellow
4ο: Πρόσθεσε στένσιλς και διακοσμητικές σφραγίδες. Εδώ χρησιμοποίησα διαφορετικό ακρυλικό χρώμα για να γίνει αντίθεση.(κίτρινο)

5th: If you want you can add more paint layers and more stencils and/or stamps! But I chose to stop to the previous layer because I didn’t want that moment a “heavy” backround!

5ο: Εάν θέλεις,μπορείς να προσθέσεις περισσότερα στρώματα χρώματος και περισσότερα στένσιλς και/ή σφραγίδες! Αλλά εγώ διάλεξα να σταματήσω στο προηγούμενο βήμα διότι δεν ήθελα ένα "βαρύ" φόντο!

6th: Time to “build” your story or to pass your message! Choose vintage elements, paintings of yours or just written text. I used all of them for these pages!
I picked up a girl I had drawn on a page of an old greek encyclopedia (you can copy,save and use it too if you want!) and some old ephemera I have in my shop.

6ο: Ώρα να "κτίσεις"την ιστορία σου ή το μήνυμα που θέλεις να περάσεις! Διάλεξε βιντάζ στοιχεία κολάζ,ζωγραφιές δικές σου ή απλά γραπτό κείμενο. Εγώ χρησιμοποίησα όλα αυτά για αυτές τις σελίδες!
Διάλεξα μία κοπελίτσα που είχα ζωγραφίσει πάνω σε μία σελίδα παλιάς εγκυκλοπάιδειας (μπορείς κι εσύ να την αποθηκεύσεις και να την χρησιμοποιήσεις αν θες!) και μερικά χάρτινα παλιά (vintage) υλικά που έχω στο etsy!

Τα κόλλησα και πέρασα το περίγραμμα τους με κηρομπογιά

7^th: On a piece of paper I wrote my text and then I glued it too around my girl!

7o: Σε ένα κομμάτι χαρτί έγραψα το κείμενο/πρόταση και το κόλλησα γύρω από το κοριτσάκι μου!

"Απλά χρειάζομαι ένα φίλο" λέει στο πουλάκι
"i just need a friend" she says to the birdie!!

Then I added some favourite rub ons about friendship…

Μετά έβαλα μερικά αγαπημένα rub ons με θέμα τη φιλία...

και... έτοιμη η σελίδα από το καλλιτεχνικό μου ημερολόγιο!!!

and...here it is! my art journal page!!!
